BuzzFeed’s Tasty
As the most recognizable food brand, I was the first social media strategist to bring it to life. In fact, you’ll still see some of my strategy at work! Tasty started out just on Facebook. I knew early on that just having a single-platform strategy wasn’t the way to go, so, I took action and created a cross-platform strategy that increased views and engagement.
Tasty by the numbers:
Launched Tasty and brought in over 250 million followers across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest
Launched six spinoff properties, featuring recipes for different age groups
and diets
Expanded the brand internationally, producing material specific to each region, reaching 65 million fans in the UK, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, France, and Germany
Formulated a content strategy for the Tasty Snapchat Discover channel, averaging 1 million daily users, and a standalone app, averaging 1.7 million daily users
Designed promotional plans for three cookbooks, which accumulated over 15 million dollars in sales
Queen Latifah
As a Social Media Expert I brought Queen Latifah’s talk show to social media. Through videos, interviews, photos, polls, and more I elevated her brand on social media, gaining her and the show’s social media accounts 7 million followers. For me it’s all about telling stories, and that’s just what we did. We told stories and people listened. Let’s do the same for you…
“Tamron Hall” Talk Show
Imagine launching an entire talk show on social media… What do you do to tell the story? What do you do to humanize the host? How do you make sure she’s in front of not only her tv audience, but social, too. The strategy that I created with Tamron delivered! Not only did we gain nearly 700,000 followers, but we were also able to bring in nearly 80 million views!
